The Prince Albert Raiders will play for the Ed Chynoweth Cup for the first time since 1985. The Raiders advanced into the WHL Final with a 4-2 win over the Edmonton Oil Kings in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Final on Sunday.

The Raiders are the third straight Saskatchewan team to represent the Eastern Conference in the league final.

Import rookie Aliaskei Protas had a hat trick, while former Moose Jaw Warriors forward Noah Gregor added the other goal in the win for the Raiders. Protas scored six goals in the last two games of the series.

Prince Albert goalie Ian Scott stopped 32 shots, while Edmonton captain Trey Fix-Wolansky scored twice in the loss.
