Carter Hudyma had two goals and three points to lead the Moose Jaw Atom A Red Warriors to a 5-2 win over the Regina Royals in minor hockey action on Wednesday.

The win improves Moose Jaw's record to 13-4-1 this season, which has them in second place in the Hockey Regina League with four games remaining in the regular season.

Austin Smith finished with a goal and two points in Wednesday's win, while Nate Lewko and Luke Pratte also found the back of the net for the Red Warriors.

Benjamin Brath registered the win in goal for Moose Jaw.

The Red Warriors have a busy weekend ahead as they will play three games in three days starting on Saturday when they travel to Regina to take on the Buffaloes. Moose Jaw will host the Prairie Storm Lightning on Sunday at the Bert Hunt Arena and then travel to Bethune on Monday to take on the Lumsden/Bethune Lions.

The regular season ends for the Red Warriors next Wednesday when they face the Regina Blues in the Queen City.

In other minor hockey action on Wednesday, the Moose Jaw Bantam AA Warriors lost 6-0 to the Swift Current Broncos. 

Also, the Midget A Warriors dropped a 7-1 game to the Regina Cougars to the end their regular season schedule on Wednesday. Brodi Noble scored the lone goal for Moose Jaw in the loss as they finished the year with a 1-26-0 record.
