Don Narcisse is bringing ten former and current Saskatchewan Roughriders with him as he comes back to the Friendly City next month for the third edition of the Don Narcisse All-Star Event.

“One thing about this football camp, it's about getting kids off the sidelines and into the game,” said Narcisse.

The camp will be held on Saturday, Feb. 27 at YaraCentre here in Moose Jaw and will feature the Rider legend himself working with the kids, along with Levi Steinhauer, Matt Dominguez, Fred Perry, Macho Harris and many more.

The focus of the camp isn't so much on football as it is on developing life skills through sport.

“The thing that we teach the kids is that you have to be on time, you have to have a great attitude and you have to work hard,” said Narcisse. “Any job that you get, you need those three ingredients.”

The camp costs $80 per player and is open to boys and girls between the ages of seven and 18. All the funds raised from the camp go towards the Canadian Tire Jumpstart program with over $8,000 to the Moose Jaw program last year.

“I can honestly tell you this, out of all the camps that I had last year, Moose Jaw was the best camp that I had,” said Narcisse. “I'm looking forward to seeing all the kids again.”
