A pair of players with NFL experience are coming to the Green and White.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders inked international quarterback BJ Coleman and offensive lineman Quinterrius Eatmon on Monday.

Coleman – six-foot-three, 231 lbs – was originally selected in the seventh round, 243rd overall, of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. He spent two seasons with the Packers, playing in seven preseason games.

Last season, Coleman played for the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League and was named AFL Player of the Week in Week 7. He threw for 629 yards with 17 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Eatmon – six-foot-six, 310 lbs – comes to the Rideres after attending training camp with the Oakland Raiders last year. He played in two preseason games after going through the 2015 NFL Draft undrafted. He also spent four seasons at South Florida, playing in 47 NCAA games.

Elsewhere around the Canadian Football League, former Riders John Chick and Weston Dressler are reportedly close to joining new teams as Chick confirmed over Twitter on the weekend that he's headed to Hamilton, while Dressler is close to a deal with the Blue Bombers.

Montreal signed a big free agent on the weekend adding slotback Duron Carter, who starred with the team in 2014 before going to the NFL last season.
