Brayden Tracey's big week has now been recognized by the Canadian Hockey League.

The Moose Jaw Warriors rookie forward was named CHL Player of the Week on Tuesday after posting 11 points in four games last week. He's the first Warrior to win the award this season.

Tracey picked up multiple points in all four games as the Warriors won three out of four games.

The 17-year-old now leads all rookies in the CHL with 73 points in 58 games. He is also in the top-10 in the WHL in scoring.

Tracey had a point in 11 of 13 games in February, picking up multiple points in eight games as well. He registered 12 goals and 26 points in 13 games during the month.

The Warriors are back on the ice on Friday to host the Lethbridge Hurricanes at Mosaic Place.
