Moose Jaw Warrior fans can start planning out their winter now after the Western Hockey League released its 2019-20 regular season schedule on Wednesday.

We found on Monday that the Warriors will open their season with a home-and-home against the Regina Pats on Friday, Sept. 20 at Brandt Centre and Saturday, Sept. 21 at Mosaic Place.

Those two teams will also meet to close out the regular season on Mar. 20-21, 2020.

The Trans-Canada Clash also heats up for a home-and-home on Dec. 27-28 in the first games back after the Christmas break.

The Warriors will play 25 of their 34 home dates on Friday and Saturdays this season.

Moose Jaw's annual Teddy Bear Toss game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 7 against Prince Albert. The Warriors will also host Brandon for their annual New Year's Eve game.

The 2019 Conexus Warriors and Legends Hall of Fame weekend will be held Feb. 7-8 with the Warriors host the Saskatoon Blades on Feb. 8 at Mosaic Place.

After that, the Warriors will embark on a seven-game road trip which will see them head to the U.S. Division while the Scotties Tournament of Hearts takes over Mosaic Place.

The Warriors will host the Winnipeg Ice for the first time on Nov. 8 and they will travel to Winnipeg for the first time on Feb. 5. The Warriors meet the East Division's newest team for a home-and-home on Mar. 6-7.
