Wednesday night was a good one for local lacrosse teams.
The Moose Jaw Novice Mustangs 2 hosted the Weyburn Thrashers at the Kinsmen Arena and walked away with a 5-3 win.
Kashton Smith potted a hat trick in the victory, while Nash Williams and Austin Smith also scored for the Mustangs.
The win improves Moose Jaw’s record to 5-1-1 on the year in the South Saskatchewan Lacrosse League.
Also on Wednesday, the Midget Mustangs hit the road into the Queen City and handed the Regina Snipers a 7-3 defeat.
Moose Jaw sits at 5-2-0 this season, which has them a 1.5 games back of the Swift Current Rampage for first place.
