To kick off their year ahead, Hunger in Moose Jaw will be holding a new fundraiser Saturday for their organization.

Since April, they have been collecting and accepting any yarn, binding, or notions donated to them, so they could hold their first-ever "Fall Into Fabric" fundraiser.

Boxes upon boxes of fabric were donated to Hunger in MJ for this weekends fundraiser.

"I think we wanted to try something different to go along with our fundraising strategy," Sharla Sept, the Executive Director of Hunger in Moose Jaw explained. "Also we are going to be acquiring a new van for our Preschool so this is just kind of a kick off to help along with that."

The fundraiser will not only help the efforts for a new van but also their year-round lunch program, which kicks into high gear during the school year.

"It's really different and we're really excited to see how it goes and it's just been amazing the support we've been getting from the community," Sept added. "People have been dropping stuff off all summer long and we have bags and bags of stuff for the sale!"
