Just a reminder that Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation (STF) job action announced on Friday morning is still happening today through Thursday.

Monday, March 25, through Thursday, March 28, will see a provincewide withdrawal of extracurricular activities.

Holy Trinity Catholic School Division is also listed as having noon-hour supervision withdrawn today, but they are not impacted as CUPE and non-union staff provide supervision over the lunch hour.

The announcement came as the STF and provincial government have yet to find a path forward for a collective bargaining agreement.

Education Ministery Jeremy Cockrill released a statement last week after the announced action to express his disappointment, adding “I will have more to say next week on how we are working to ensure that students get the opportunities they so deserve, including graduation.”

One of the STF's main continuing points of contention in negotiation centres around how to address classroom complexity.
