The government of Saskatchewan made some changes last Friday to Phase-2 of the 'Re-Open Saskatchewan Plan', which is set to start May 19th.

The changes include the addition of a few new businesses being allowed to reopen, as well as some changes to previously announced plans.

Farmers markets will be able to operate starting on the 19th, as long as customers can maintain proper distancing. There will be limits on how many people can be in each area, public seating will not be allowed, and all markets must have an area for customers to wash their hands.

All vendors must sell take-away and pre-packages foods if possible, and self-serve bulk foods will not be allowed.

Thrift and second-hand clothing stores also got the green light to open on the 19th. All donated items must be extensively cleaned, and if that's not possible, they must be stored for 72 hours before being added to the public shelves.

Golf Courses, which are already set to open May 15th, will have some changes. All tee times must be 12 minutes apart and limited to four people. Group lessons and tournaments are still not allowed, but league play can take place. Players are also encouraged to not touch the pin or hit their ball into the hole.

Even with all of these changes, all gatherings still must have 10 people or less, and those involved must try and maintain physical distancing.
