A Moose Jaw photographer has documented local business people and residents around town.

With his 30-in-30 project, Andy Hamilton has put the spotlight on the people of Moose Jaw.

"There was definitely not a prioritization in who I wanted to photograph," said Hamilton. "Just each day, wanting to do something different than the day before and keeping in mind that I wanted to vary the series as I went."

Hamilton's photo series documents all kinds of people from an emergency room doctor and a police officer, to business owners, artists, musicians, teachers, and more.

For 30 days, Hamilton posted a new portrait to his Facebook page, and is now displaying the series in print locally.

While Hamilton said he mostly engages in corporate photography at this point in his photography career, he said he wanted to create the series as a tribute to the community he knows and loves.

"It's a tribute to the people of Moose Jaw and the community and how tight we are and supportive we are. I had a few comments from people who said they were watching the series online each day as it came out and for those people who actually went to see the series, in person, they felt that the prints were much more impressive to them, they enjoyed them more than the online version."

The entire 30-in-30 photo series is now on display at Grant Hall until the end of August.
