A pair of big games for the Moose Jaw Miller Express this weekend as they try and get their first win of the season against the Weyburn Beavers on Saturday and then have a divisional game against the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets on Sunday.

The Millers lost to the Beavers on Wednesday 6-4 despite some good pitching from Taylor Elder, who went six innings and struck out six, and a three run homer from Eric Nutzhorn.

Millers first baseman Cory Olafson talks about what the team needs to do to beat the Beavers, "The first couple times I think we gave them a few runs each game and Wednesday night they just came out and beat us, they played and so did we but they came out on top.  I think we just need to keep them off the base paths, they seemed to run alright and we just need to get on them earlier in the game, I don't think we've had a lead against them yet, so I think the key is just getting up early and staying ahead."

Olafson tells us about their match up with Saskatoon, "We're just going to try and play our game.  I mean we beat them the last time in the ninth inning and obviously it's a huge, huge game cause it's a divisional game and they won Wednesday night and we lost so it's going to turn out to be a pretty big game on Sunday."

Sean Buford will get the start for Saturday's game and first pitch is at 7pm at Ross Wells Park.
