Guilty as charged, he is.

Bernie Lynch was sentenced Friday to three years in federal prison for sexually assaulting a young hockey player in Regina back in 1988.

I heard the rumours back then but like the Graham James case, I, like many others, thought if it were true, surely someone would come forward.

Many years later, one brave man finally did. We don't know who he is. We don't need to. We admire his courage though, don't we?

Lynch coached the Humboldt Broncos, the Regina Pats and the Regina Pat Canadians as well as a number of other teams to follow.

You wonder if more of his former players will come forward. Time will tell.

I don't know where Graham James is these days. I don't care. I believe he should still be in prison.

Lynch will likely be released within three years. I think that's wrong.

You know, it was in 2012 that former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky was sentenced for sexually assaulting young boys. He got 30 to 60 years in prison. He'll be 80 years old later this week.

The only way he'll get out of prison is in a body bag.

I'm just sayin'.
