Decision 2006 has been decided. The votes were counted in record time and the city of Moose Jaw declared a brand new mayor, and several fresh faces on city council.

 


Former city councillor and retired educator Dale McBain has been declared the new mayor of Moose Jaw.

And overwhelming support of the city's 15 million dollar commitment towards building a new multiplex to replace the aging Moose Jaw Civic Centre.  7051 voted for, 2822 against.

The new city council will be made up by former mayor Al Schwinghamer, local lawyer Darin Chow, incumbents Dawn Luhning and Brian Swanson two new members on council; Regina Sagal-Hendry, long time director of the Moose Jaw Children's Choir and retired educator and Mary-Dell Findlay, a retired health care professional.
