Bundle up and use caution when traveling.  Roads are extremely icy, both on the highways and local streets after a nasty change in the weather that hit Sunday.

Things started really nice but then the wind picked up, the temperature dropped and the snow started falling Sunday in southern Saskatchewan.  Travel was not recommended Sunday night and into Monday for many areas of the province as blowing snow and icy roads combined for terrible driving conditions.

Streets and highways are still icy to start the shortened work week, plus there's the windchill to consider. Moose Jaw's expecting a windchill factor near -40 for the day while Regina, Fort Qu'Appelle and the Estevan regions are under a windchill warning, with factors below -40 at times.
