The young man who was arrested in connection with threatening Peacock Collegiate teachers has his day in court.

An update to a story you may remember from last winter.

It was a Friday morning, December 2nd, when we got word of an emergency lockdown at Peacock Collegiate in Moose Jaw. We heard that a young man who was not a student at the school had threatened staff.

Moose Jaw Police arrested their suspect at his home a short time after the incident and charged Christopher Cournoyer with uttering death threats.

Cournoyer has now been dealt with by the courts. He was handed a 6 month conditional sentence. If he breaches the conditions he'll be back before the judge.
