The Moose Jaw Miller Express are back in action at Ross Wells Park with weekend for a pair of games against the Regina Red Sox.

Game one is on Friday night at 7 p.m. with the rematch on Saturday at 7 p.m.

The Millers hold a 4.5 game lead over Regina in the Western Canadian Baseball League East Division standings.

Free Fishing Weekend

Cast a line and give fishing a try this weekend. It is a free fishing weekend in the province. This means anyone, whether they're a resident or just visiting, can fish in any of Saskatchewan’s public waters open to sport fishing, no license required.

All fishing regulations, including limits, will still be in effect.

Free fishing weekend also does not apply in national parks, where a federal license is required, and anyone planning on taking fish out of the province must purchase a license.

Summer Gallery Pop-Up Program at the Western Development Museum

This drop-in program takes place most Sundays in July and August to allow families to explore the Western Development Museum’s artifacts and exhibits through crafts, games and hands-on activities.

This Sunday’s theme is “Starry Night” where you will learn about the history of the WDM’s observatory and interesting facts about astronomy.

The program runs from 1 to 4 p.m. and it is included with you museum entry fee.
