You have likely noticed gas prices in Moose Jaw jump this week.

Several stations made the jump to 101.9 cents/Litre this week, though not all.  As of Friday morning, there were still a handful selling gas for 95.9 cents/Litre.

Even with the price just over a dollar/L, we're still in much better shape than in the recent past according to some experts.

"This time last year we were about 11-12 cents more expensive," said Dan McTeague, a senior petroleum analyst with GasBuddy.com. "The year before (2014) 30 cents more, and the year before that (2013) almost 34 cents more.  So we are saving more in comparison to other years."

McTeague says the fact there is "a lot of supply out there" is a main contributing factor, and he doesn't expect any significant price jumps anytime soon.

According to the GasBuddy website, the lowest gas price in Saskatchewan is 90.9 c/L at one Regina location.  The highest price in the province is 113.9 c/L in Buffalo Narrows. The average price in the province is 100.9 c/L.
