An 18-year-old man accused of shooting a pellet gun in downtown Moose Jaw had his case adjourned to June 6.

Defence lawyer Andrew Ferguson appeared via telephone in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Wednesday on behalf of Logan Ferguson.

Hitchcock was granted the adjournment by Judge Brian Hendrickson to prepare a resolution proposal for the Crown prosecutor. Ferguson is not in custody as he was released on conditions on Nov. 1, 2023.

Ferguson was arrested on Oct. 30, 2023, after a pellet gun was discharged in the downtown core. As a result of the incident, one person had multiple facial wounds.

Ferguson was charged with discharging an air gun with the intent to wound and possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes. He is also facing several outstanding charges including breach of an undertaking, mischief and failing to comply with a release order.
