The Moose Jaw Miller Express picked up a pair of weekend wins to continue a four-game winning streak.

After falling to the Medicine Hat Mavericks at the beginning of the season, the Miller Express picked up a 10-7 road win over the Mavericks on Friday.

Moose Jaw got off to a quick start, going up 6-1 after the second inning and didn’t look back. Kellan Voggesser picked up the win on the mound, going six innings, allowing six hits, and three runs and struck out five.

Game two was scheduled to take place in Medicine Hat Saturday but was postponed.

The Miller Express returned to the friendly confines of Ross Wells Park for a Sunday matinee with the Weyburn Beavers.

Moose Jaw held an 11-8 advantage heading into the ninth inning. Weyburn muster up two runs, but the comeback would fall short as the Miller Express would win 11-10.

The Miller Express are back in action tonight when they head down Highway 1 to take on the Red Sox in Regina.
