An enquiry by Councilor Eby in a recent city council meeting brought forward details on city transit usage during last year's World Para Ice Hockey Championship (WPIHC).

During the six-day event the City of Moose Jaw provided complimentary transit to the event for pass holders. A total of 14 no-charge rides were supplied by fixed route transit to the event.

In addition to standard transit, Paratransit services were available for participating teams and staff members with special needs to the event. The service was utilized a total of 37 times including four trips to and from the Regina airport.
