The Saskatchewan Party is set when it comes to their candidates in Moose Jaw but the NDP are still working on their game plan.

The Saskatchewan Party is all lined up for the next provincial election when it comes to Moose Jaw's two ridings. Warren Michelson for the North and Gwen Beitel in Wakamow.

Current NDP MLA for Wakamow Deb Higgins is still planning her future in politics. "So far I have had a discussion with family and I am strongly leaning towards running again. All that will come about once the Moose Jaw Wakamow New Democrats set a date for a nomination and that will be the final decision."

If Higgins runs it'll be a rematch of the last election in 2003 when Beitel challenge Higgins for Wakamow but lost.

So far the Premier has not announced a date for the election but Lorne Calvert has said it will depend on what happens in Ottawa with the opposition parties and if they try to bring down the Conservatives.
