Pauline Christine Mah, nee Chaykowski was born in Alvena, SK on June 29, 1924, the third child of ten children. At the age of 17, she left the family farm in Mildred, SK to seek work in Prince Albert. There she married Kim Mah, owner, with his father, of a large restaurant, the Airways Café.  Kim and Pauline had five children, Vivian (RIP), Vernon (RIP), Rose, James and Sandra.

In 1962, the family moved to Moose Jaw where they ran the Apex Café, before retiring to their house on Hochelaga Street. Pauline loved to work in her flower gardens in the front and back yards. When Kim passed away, her son-in-law, Dennis Waud, was a great help to Pauline. Sandra has been her main support since moving back to Moose Jaw years ago. Pauline passed away the day after her 100th birthday.

She is survived by her children, Rose, James and Sandra; eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Pauline also had two stepchildren, Jimmy (RIP) and Li; five step-grandchildren, and nine step great-grandchildren.

A family graveside will take place on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 10:30am. Father Bert will officiate.
