The severe thunderstorm that made its way through Moose Jaw on Thursday afternoon, has made its way east to Regina bringing with it a little spring hailstorm.

Discover Moose Jaw has received reports of an accumulation of snow on Highway 1 just west of Regina, and in the area of Grand Coulee. Photos submitted show a little dusting of hail, which looks like snow, on a number of fields in the Grand Coulee area.

The Saskatchewan Department of Highways is currently out trying to clear rural highways and roadways of the significant hail accumulations.

Currently, a Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for the Moose Jaw and surrounding areas by Environment Canada.

The thunderstorm can potentially produce strong wind gusts, large hail, and heavy rain. It's likely that the rain will continue into Thursday evening.
