Police and Fire Report

Moose Jaw Police responded to 32 calls for service. 

8:31 am – Theft – Multiple construction items were stolen, valued at $1000. This is still under investigation.

9:12 am – Dispute – A verbal dispute took place. One subject was arrested on outstanding warrants.

9:49 am – Well Being Check – A camper was parked in a business lot for a long period. The owner was spoken with. All was okay and they will be putting the camper in storage for winter.

10:07 am – Break and Enter – Unknown persons attempted to enter a building, but no entry was gained. Approximately $700.00 of damage was done.

11:07 am – Assist Locate – A family member was found. All was okay.

11:13 am – Domestic – A verbal argument took place. The parties separated prior to police arrival.

12:18 pm – Fraud – Fraud over $5000 occurred. The suspect is known, and this is still under investigation

2:03 pm – 911 Call - False – A child was playing on a phone. All was ok.

2:13 pm – Dispute – A verbal dispute with another resident occurred. Advice was given.

2:26 pm – Hit & Run – Unfounded – A witness saw a car hit another vehicle, but information was exchanged between the owners.

3:00 pm – Dispute – A dispute took place over belongings. Advice was given on how to obtain them.

4:28 pm – Theft of Auto – The caller was wanting to report a vehicle stolen 2 months ago.  It was found impounded.  This is still under investigation.

4:50 pm – Theft – A person was charged at a local business for shoplifting. The theft was under $5000.

5:00 pm – Fire Call – A residential structure fire occurred. Arson was not suspected. No injuries resulted, and this is still under investigation.

6:20 pm – Noise Bylaw – There was a complaint of loud music, and the person was warned under the noise bylaw.

8:08 pm – Dispute – A dispute took place between neighbours. The parties agreed to keep the peace.

8:42 pm – Assault – A dispute took place between roommates. One party found a new place to stay.

8:51 pm – Unknown 911 – An intoxicated person was at a business. The person was transported home.

9:01 pm – Loud Party – Loud music was heard at a residential address, and the occupants were warned under the noise bylaw.

11:29 pm – Loud Party – There was loud music with a couple guests. The owner was warned and the stereo was turned down.

12:35 am – Dispute – A verbal dispute took place and the subjects separated.

2:19 am – Assist EMS – Police assisted EMS with a patient. The individual was taken to hospital by ambulance.

2:43 am – Dispute – A verbal dispute took place between two parties. The dispute was mediated.

3:26 am – Assist Locate – There was a request to locate a teen thought to be with one parent.  The teen was located exactly where they should be, and all was okay.
