Moose Jaw Police responded to 40 calls for service. 

8:52 am – Break and Enter – A garage was broken into overnight. The back door was left unlocked. Approximately $100 worth of items was stolen.

9:35 am – Fraud – The individual purchased an item online and received something else instead. This was an online scam and was reported to the credit card company. A file number was given.

9:52 am – Unwanted Guest – An unwanted guest was removed from the house and charged.

10:16 am – Dispute – The complainant needed help getting property back. Information was provided.

10:53 am – Noise Bylaw – Loud music was heard and dogs were barking at a residence. The owner was warned.

11:07 am – Hit & Run – A vehicle was hit in a business parking lot and no information was left. $200.00 in damage was done.

12:13 pm – Mischief – Approximately $250 in damage was done to a vehicle.

12:20 pm – False Alarm – A security system alarm was activated. No one was home and no signs of forced entry were seen.

12:45 pm – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle was unmoved for a long period. The owner will move the vehicle.

1:35 pm – Driving Erratic – The owner was spoken to and warned.

2:19 pm – Fireworks Bylaw – Fireworks were being used. The person was warned.

2:43 pm – Attempted Fraud –Two subjects attempted to make purchase using stolen ID. Subjects were known, and this is still under investigation.

3:32 pm – Assist EMS – An adult subject was located in good health. The subject was assessed by EMS and was in good health.

4:04 pm – Obstruct a Peace Officer – A known suspect fled from police. This matter is still under investigation for charges.

5:11 pm – Disturbance – An adult subject was located and warned for their behaviour.

6:52 pm – Disturbance – A large fight between several people was located. The situation was mediated and the parties were separated.

7:58 pm – Theft Under – A known suspect stole money from the complainant. This matter is still under investigation.

8:54 pm – Attempted Theft – Subjects attempted to steal a vehicle. The suspects were caught by the complainant and fled, and this matter is still under investigation for charges.

9:17 pm – Theft of Auto – A vehicle was stolen. A stolen auto form was signed and the vehicle was added to the national database.

10:46 pm – Possession of Stolen Property – Two adult subjects were charged with possession of stolen property. They were given a later a court date.

11:15 pm – Loud Party – The homeowner was warned under the noise bylaw.

11:18 pm – Break and Enter – An adult subject was located and charged with break and enter and breach of recognizance. The subject was released for court at a later date.

11:49 pm – Loud Party – The homeowner was warned under the noise bylaw.

12:49 am – Assistance to Sick Person – The adult subject was located and taken to the hospital. The subject was left in the care of hospital staff.

2:48 am – Dispute – Police attended and the situation was mediated.

Police assisted other government agencies in six cases.
Police charged one with breach of recognizance.
Police responded to five 911 calls.
