The Moose Jaw Police Service have charged a 29-year-old man with several charges, including unlawfully endangering a child's life, following an incident earlier today (August 15, 2023).

Police responded to the east side of the city for a report of a suspect running in and out of traffic while pushing a baby stroller.

Upon arrival the suspect refused to stop for police and ran head on into oncoming traffic.

With the help of the public, the suspect was stopped near an east side business and arrested and transported to hospital for assessment.

The 4-year old child was not injured in the incident.

An unnamed 29-year-old male has been charged with assault, unlawfully endangering a child's life and resist arrest.

He will appear in provincial court at a later date.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
