Police and bank staff are still looking for the high tech bank robbers that swiped over $10,000 from customers.

The investigation is on going after more than a dozen local residents have reported more than 10 thousand dollars missing from their bank accounts this week.

Police and bank staff believe the culprits set up what's known as a "skimmer" on an automated teller machine at a local Royal Bank location with.

The Royal Bank's Liz Redston says it's the first time this has happened at a Royal Bank in Moose Jaw but it happens across the country before. "It’s not uncommon and it’s an industry wide issue. Anywhere that there is an ATM, this could potentially happen."

The Royal Bank and Moose Jaw Police Service are both investigating. Redston says anyone who lost money in this fraud is fully insured by the bank.
