Polls open today for Election 2007 for voters with disabilities, those of us busy on Election Day, or those who will not be in their home riding on November 7th.

The sprint to Election Day 2007 is on as parties push for that last minute support.

Thursday is the first of five days of advanced polls across the province. But who qualifies to vote early? We asked Assistant Chief Electoral Officer Dave Wilkie.

"If someone believes they are going to be absent from their ordinary residence on Election Day, or if they're an election officer or candidate representative, or if they're busy during the election, or if they have a disability then those would be the criteria that they can use to vote at an advance poll."

This year advanced polls are open from 3 until 10 pm Thursday and Friday, noon until 7 on Saturday and Sunday, as well as 3 until 10pm on Monday.

In Moose Jaw North head to SIAST Palliser Campus, in Wakamow the poll is at the YMCA.
