A 19-episode series shot in Saskatchewan is 19 per cent of the way to their fundraising dream goal of $25,300.

The series, called SIN3056843, is currently looking to raise money to fund post-production, distribution and marketing costs. Through an ongoing Indiegogo campaign and outside donations, they’ve raised a total of $4868.66 so far.

Writer, director, and producer Dustan Hlady said they are halfway to their needed goal for post-production costs, including post sound, VFX, score, and colour-grading. “I have no doubt that we’ll reach that goal. Another big push is for also having enough to distribute and market it.”

“There’s a lot of really talented, creative people in Saskatchewan making films and series and short films. The creation of it is usually where it ends, and then it ends up on YouTube or something like that.”

The series does have an offer to run on Amazon Prime and Tubi pending a post-production quality approval check.

If they raise enough for marketing and distribution it would give them the opportunity to do a yearlong guerilla marketing campaign to promote the series, to make people aware of its availability on streaming platforms. “There’s a lot of films and series that go on Prime, and that go on Tubi, and they’re just buried, because they’re not promoted, so people don’t know they’re there.”

As money comes in, they’ve been doing work on post-production, and they’re looking to have that done around the end of April if they've raised the funds.

To donate, you can find the series’ Indiegogo campaign here, which runs until March 28th. If you want to learn more about the series, you can check out the finished Pilot episode below.
