Buffalo Pound Lake from the Causeway.

The sun is expected to be shining and the Buffalo Pound Provincial Park is looking for a helping hand on Sunday morning for their annual Great Canadian Shoreline Clean-up.

"The Moose Jaw Wildlife Federation is sponsoring this clean-up out at the Causeway at Buffalo Pound Lake," said organizer Doreen Dodd.

Dodd says the work should only take a couple of hours, "We go along there and we pick up the garbage that fishers have left behind, so there's bait containers, but since we've been doing it every year, there seems like there's a lot less.  If we have time we go a little bit along the highway and clean the ditches too.

"We're meeting there at ten o'clock in the morning and then we're going to do a hot dog lunch after," added Dodd.

Anyone interested in lending a hand can call Doreen at 692-4148 to register.
