The Little Princess Ball is looking for help to sponsor ball attendance for 5 or 6 children.  

Kate Szeles, co-chair with the Little Princess Ball, said that at a minimum they’re looking for people able to cover the cost of two tickets, as each of the sponsored children needs to be accompanied by an adult. Each ticket costs $82.15. 

“In the past we’ve had some really generous people offer their support in creating a really great package which would be 2 tickets, and including some spending money so each child would be able to purchase an outfit to complete their experience and make them feel extra special." 

Szeles said they’ve had sponsorship options available for a number of years. “It’s just an incredible way to support a child or family that is going through tough times, and just deserves an amazing day to forget the worries outside and get lost in the magic of what the Little Princess Ball is.” 

If you’re interested in nominating a child to attend, Szeles asks that you send them a message on Facebook with their name, age, and why you are nominating them. “We can’t necessarily offer this experience to every nomination, but we do try to give it to as many children as we can.”

Szeles said that aside from people willing to sponsor children’s attendance, they’re looking for more silent auction items, as well as building supplies to help them decorate the ballroom. She added that they will keep everyone updated on what they need on their Facebook page.  

The Little Princess Ball, which is a fundraiser for the Moose Jaw Health Foundation, is happening on April 27th and 28th this year at the Moose Jaw Events Centre.
