The Moose Jaw Humane Society has two major fundraisers taking place right now.

Tickets are now available for the humane society’s 4 Paws Lottery and registration is now being taken for the 4 Paws Trolley Crawl in conjunction with Tourism Moose Jaw.

The money raised from these events will go towards the care of the pets living at the shelter including food, vaccinations, spay/neuter program and emergency medical funds.

Tickets for the 4 Paws Lottery are one for $20, five for $50, 10 for $75 and 20 for $100. Fundraising coordinator for the Moose Jaw Humane Society Donna Fritzke said tickets are going fast.

“We’ve already sold almost $3,000 worth of tickets in about three days, so it’s just amazing how everyone has supported the shelter,” she said.

The prizes are four $500 cash prizes and a grand prize of $10,000. Tickets can be purchased here

New this year is the 4 Paws Trolley Crawl in partnership with Tourism Moose Jaw. It gives folks the opportunity to hop on the trolley and check out everything that Downtown Moose Jaw has to offer.

“The idea is to bring awareness to the shelter and to work with our community to do that. So, people can come down to the tourism office. It’s going to be on Saturday, June 22. You can register and you can hop on the trolley bus and you get to go downtown and visit designated businesses and get a taste of what that business does,” Fritzke said.

You can register for the trolley crawl at Tourism Moose Jaw. The cost is $10 per person or $20 per family.
