In girls’ fastball action over the weekend, the 14U Ice lost a pair of games to Estevan on Sunday at Optimist Park.

Estevan was able to come from behind to win game one of the doubleheader 10-9.

Moose Jaw held an 8-3 lead going into the seventh and final inning. Estevan scored seven in the top of the seventh, while Moose Jaw could not find the tying runs.

In game two, Moose Jaw once again held a lead, but another seventh-inning comeback gave Estevan the 9-7 victory.

Moose Jaw was up 6-5 after five innings for play, but it was four runs in the bottom of the seventh that gave Estevan the win.

The Ice will look to rebound on Thursday when they travel to Regina to play games against the Saints and the Storm.
