Coming off a loss in their all-Moose Jaw showdown with the Warriors, the Moose Jaw Atom A Red Warriors bounced back with a win on Monday night.

The Red Warriors had dropped a 5-1 game to the Warriors on Sunday, but they responded with a 6-2 win over the Regina Mustangs on Monday night in Hockey Regina action.

Carter Hudyma had four goals to lead the way for the Red Warriors in the win, while Austin Smith finished with a goal and two points, and Lachlan Clark also found the back of the net.

The win was split by Hayden Nidesh and Ben Barth in goal.

The Red Warriors are now 5-2-1 this season. They return to the ice on Sunday to host the Regina Cougars at the Bert Hunt Arena. Puck drops at 11:45 a.m.

Also on Monday, the Moose Jaw Midget AA Warriors dropped an 8-1 game to the Notre Dame Hounds in the Saskatchewan AA Hockey League. Noah Braun scored the lone goal in the loss for Moose Jaw, who drop to 1-13-0 this season.

The Warriors head back to Wilcox on Thursday to take on the Notre Dame Argos. Puck drops at 8:30 p.m.
