The Moose Jaw Peewee A Warriors were clicking on Sunday afternoon at the Red Knight Arena.

Moose Jaw skated to a 9-2 win over the Lumsden Lions, which improved their record to 14-0-1 this season in the Hockey Regina League.

Cole King led the attack for the Warriors with two goals and four points, while Layne Gadd and Tayden Hardwicke picked up two goals and three points each.

Luc Fafard and Donovan Harkness had a goal and two points each and Cooper Erickson finished with two assists, while Kai Spencer scored the other goal for Moose Jaw.

The Warriors return to the ice on Thursday when they host the Regina Buffaloes at the Bert Hunt Arena. Puck drops at 7 p.m.

The Moose Jaw Atom A Warriors dropped all three games during a busy three-in-three weekend.

The Warriors fell 6-3 to the Regina Shamrocks in the Queen City on Friday night; they lost 9-4 to the Prairie Storm Lightning on Saturday at the Bert Hunt; then dropped a 4-2 game against the Regina Capitals on Sunday.

The Warriors are now 5-11-0 this season. They will face the Regina Tigers on Saturday at 3:15 p.m. at the Kinsmen Arena.

The Moose Jaw Bantam A Mavericks swept their two games this weekend to remain perfect this season.

The Mavericks cruised to a 12-1 win over the Prairie Storm on Friday in Balgonie and then Moose Jaw picked up a 5-2 win over Weyburn on Saturday at the Bert Hunt Arena.

The two wins put the Mavericks' record at 21-0-0 this season in the Saskatchewan Female Hockey League.

Nikita Halyk paced the Mavericks with four goals in Friday's win, while Sidney Ellingson had a goal and four points.

Ellie Gauvin and Jasmine Kohl scored twice and finished with three points each, while Eowyn Stokes registered a goal and three points and Ember Dusomme had three assists.

Mattea May also had a goal and two points and Taryn Sandbeck also scored.

On Saturday, Dusomme and Stokes finished with a goal and two points each, while Keana Maclachlan had two assists.

Halyk, Ellingson and Taylor Luciak also found the back of the net in the win.

The Mavericks have one more game on the schedule, coming up on Feb. 8 against the Swift Current Colts at the Kinsmen Arena.

In the Sask. Female Hockey League's Peewee Division, the Mavericks skated to a 3-1 win over the Swift Current Fire Cats on Friday at the Kinsmen.

Brooklyn Nimegeers had two goals and three points, while Ashley Breitkreuz scored the other goal for Moose Jaw.

The Mavericks are now 12-4-1 this season. They face-off with the Ochapowace Thunder on Saturday at the Red Knight Arena.

The Moose Jaw Bantam AA Warriors lost both their games over the weekend, falling 6-0 to the Saskatoon Stallions on Saturday at the Red Knight Arena and then 4-0 to the Estevan Bruins on Sunday at the Bert Hunt.

The Warriors are now 0-21-1 this season in the Saskatchewan AA Hockey League.

They return to the ice for three games coming up this weekend when they head to Estevan on Friday, then Weyburn on Saturday, before hosting the Wings on Sunday at the Bert Hunt.

In the Midget AA Division, the Warriors suffered a 10-0 loss to the Regina Rangers on Friday night.

The loss puts Moose Jaw's record at 2-28-0. They will travel to Regina to take on the Capitals on Wednesday night at 8:15 p.m.
