The top of the standings in the Original 16 Cash League continue to get tighter and tighter each week.

Matt Froehlich's top ranked DNT Paintless Dent Repair rink had their game postponed on Wednesday night, but the teams behind them continue to jock for position.

Coming off a win at the 114th Men's Bonspiel on the weekend, Bob Desjarlais' Kal Tire rink picked up a big win during league play as they knocked off Joel Jordison and the Seaborn Insurance rink, 7-4.

That win ties Desjarlais with Jordison for second place at 11-4, while Murray Stroeder's BNC Truck & Trailer rink also improved to 11-4 with a 5-3 win over Warren Marcotte and the Keons rink, who sit at 4-11 on the year.

Derek Owens and the BTN Chartered Accountants rink is also right in the mix after improving to 11-3 with a 6-2 win over Jerry Cherneski and the Chillers rink, who fall to 5-10 with the loss.

In other action from Wednesday night, Ben Gamble and the Boston Pizza Main & Thatcher rink (8-6) won 6-4 over Ralph Courtnage and the Terra Grain Fuels rink (8-7); Ryan Wenarchuk's Johns Music rink (8-7) handed Joe Gunnis' EMJ Marketing rink (2-13) a 7-4 loss thanks to three in the eighth; Wade Gray and the Protec Video rink (8-7) knocked off Donna Ackerman and the Misfitz rink (4-11), 5-3; and Lorraine Arguin and the Easy Care Living rink (8-7) rolled to a 5-1 win over Brett Behm and the Moose Jaw Funeral Home rink (3-12).
