Moose Jaw's Marie Wright and Team Saskatchewan improved to 3-0 at the 2018 Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championship on Tuesday.

Saskatchewan rolled to a 9-2 win over Manitoba in the afternoon draw and then knocked off Ontario, 8-3, in the night draw.

In the afternoon game, the two teams traded singles early in the game, but Saskatchewan was able to blow the game open with four in the third and then a steal of two in the fourth to take a 7-1 lead on Manitoba. They added another deuce in the sixth to seal the win.

The showdown with Ontario was a back-and-forth affair for Saskatchewan. They jumped out to a 3-0 lead after two, but Ontario struck back with a single in the third. Saskatchewan restored their three-point lead in the fourth and then stole one in the fifth to move in front 5-1. Ontario got back into the game with a deuce in the sixth, but Saskatchewan sealed the win in the seventh with a three-ender.

Saskatchewan is back on the ice at 1:30 p.m. against 2-1 British Columbia and against 0-3 Northern Ontario at 6:30 p.m.
