Make sure to schedule it on your phone, the Moose Jaw Warriors will open the 2016-17 regular season on Friday, Sept. 23 with a rematch of last year’s second round series against the Brandon Wheat Kings.

The Tribe will face the defending WHL champions in a home-and-home series to kick off the new campaign with the first half at Mosaic Place and then the second game in Brandon.

The Warriors will finish their season on Saturday, Mar. 18 at home against the Swift Current Broncos.

In total, 21 out of the Warriors’ 72 games will be played on Friday and Saturday, including a pair of home-and-homes with the Regina Pats on Dec. 16-17 and Mar. 10-11.

The Warriors will head out on the bi-annual BC Division road trip, which will start on Jan. 13 in Vancouver and finish on Jan. 22 in Edmonton.  In total, the Warriors will play six games in nine days and travel 4,600-kilometres.

The annual New Year’s Eve game returns with the Warriors ringing in 2017 by hosting the Wheat Kings at Mosaic Place.  The team will also host Brandon on Valentine’s Day.

The Warriors & Legends Hall of Fame Game is schedule for Saturday, Mar. 4 against Medicine Hat.
