It was an early weekend for one of the rinks with Moose Jaw connections at the Lumsden curling club for the Saskatchewan Men's Curling Tour.

The Ben Gamble Rink, which includes former Moose Javinas Ben Gamble, Brayden Mohns, along with Tyler Krupski, went 0-3 and missed the playoffs. They were defeated 9-5 by Sam Wills, 7-5 to Kelly Knapp and 6-4 to Shane Vollman.

The Knapp rink with Brock Montgomery at third made the semifinal; but lost to the Steve Howard rink. In the round-robin, Knapp defeated Vollman 8-2 but lost 10-4 to Wills.

While the Wills rink with Grady Lamontagne at third lost the final 6-2 to Howard - the same rink that won in Moose Jaw two weekends ago. They went 4-and-0 before their final.

The Colton Flasch rink won the final of the Saskatoon Nutana event, 5-3 over Michael Carss, happening simultaneously for curlers in the north.
