Sixty students and instructor pilots from 2 Canadian Forces Flight Training School, as well as support members from 15 Wing Moose Jaw left Saskatchewan on Saturday, November 4, on board a United States Air Force KC-135 “Stratotanker” to continue training in San Angelo, Texas, until the end of November, as part of Exercise Jaw South.

The exercise aims to maintain a sustained pace of pilot training on the CT-156 Harvard II by taking advantage of favourable fall weather out of San Angelo Regional Airport – Mathis Field.

The KC-135, which transported 15 Wing Moose Jaw members to Texas, came from the 92nd Air Refueling Wing based at Fairchild AFB in Spokane, Washington.
