A very special memorial is being held Tuesday morning in Moose Jaw as we remember the 37 people who lost their lives in the Air Disaster of 1954. A Harvard plane from 15 Wing collided with a passenger plane over Moose Jaw sending debris for a 3-mile radius.

Tuesday friends, family, and local historians will remember with the unveiling of a cairn.

Moose Jaw Museum Curator and MC for the event Heather Smith tells us about the cairn. "The cairn was designed by the staff and students at SIAST Palliser Campus from the Architecture, Brick Laying, and Carpentry programs. It lists all of the names of the people who died that day."

The ceremony is being held at 10 Tuesday morning at the Town and Country Park on the east side of the Chamber of Commerce.
