The Western Hockey League officially released their 2007-08 schedule Tuesday.

 

With training camps a little over a two weeks away, the Western Hockey League officially released their 2007-08 schedule yesterday.

The Moose Jaw Warriors open the regular season September 21st at home against the Swift Current Broncos.   Their first home and home series with the Regina Pats is December 14th and 15th, which are the last games before the Christmas break.  The tribe wraps up the season March 14th and 15th with a home and home against Swift Current.

Two WHL teams will make their fist ever stops in Moose Jaw this year.  November 7th the expansion Edmonton Oil Kings are in town, while February 26th the Chilliwack Bruins make their first stop in town.

The Warriors have two trips to the West Coast this year.  October 26th and 27th Moose Jaw will be in Vancouver and Kelowna.  December 28th to January 4th they'll make the trip south of the border to take on the U.S. Division.

As well, January 18th the Vancouver Giants return to the Civic Center for the first time in two years.  The last time they were in the friendly was two years ago in the WHL Final.
