Could it be a trend or just a sign that people have already made up their minds in the election?

Elections Canada is reporting over 3.6 million people took to the advanced polls this past weekend in the federal election, that's a 71% increase over the 2011 numbers but there was also an extra day this year.  From Friday through Monday, voters could cast a ballot earlier if they would be busy next Monday on election day.

Now, a riding by riding breakdown has been provided.

According to Elections Canada, 5,561 votes were cast in the Moose Jaw-Lake Centre Lanigan riding, while 4,787 voted early in Cypress Hills-Grasslands.
