A blowing snow advisory has been issued by Environment and Climate Change Canada for Moose Jaw and the surrounding area.

Snow and blowing snow are expected to reduce visibility for parts of southeast Alberta and southwest and south central Saskatchewan. The visibility is expected to improve later this evening.

Blowing snow advisories are issued when winds are expected to create blowing snow giving poor visibility to 800 metres or less for at least three hours.
