Business as Usual at Spa

Even though The Temple Gardens Mineral Spa Resort Hotel in Moose Jaw is still in the middle of a possible sale, it's business as usual.

We wondered about our strong Canadian dollar and how it might be impacting business.

Spa CEO Deb Thorn says it's really not a major factor.  "We're not seeing any shrinkage of our American visitors but,  our American visitors make up a very, very small component of our travellers," says Thorn.

"The good news is, we continue to enjoy repeat visits from Alberta and B.C. and Manitoba and, as word travels, we're starting to see more and more travellers from eastern Canada.  As word spreads about Moose Jaw and the success of tourism in Moose Jaw, we can look forward to more success as years go by," concluded Thorn.

The Spa will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Saturday.
