It seems to be a question people around my age ask often;  "You still working?"

I used to say, "Of course, I have to!".   These days I say, "Yes, thankfully."

This pandemic has negatively impacted many industries around the world and a new poll shows we're feeling the stress around the world.

The study from Ipsos found "the pandemic has taken an emotional toll on employees, such as family pressures, feeling lonely and isolated, and employer-related issues such as job security".

Ipsos engaged with people from all over the globe and found almost a third of employed people "feel disengaged from their work" these days and 40% of them are "frustrated and bored".

The study finds much of the stress is coming from worry with about 60% of employees from 25+ countries saying, "loss of income or employment is very real...in the next 12 months."

It's also interesting to note, of the employers who have cut personnel expenses, there are two key factors to "a return to the workplace" and they are "a drop in cases and the prevalence of vaccination".
