It reminds me of the old saying, "Be careful what you wish for". 

Canadians from coast to coast are working from home these days.  I'm going to bet a good percentage of those people, at some point, wished they could work from home.  A number of my friends and co-workers are struggling with it these days.   

It's novel - just like the coronavirus that's keeping us at home and for many, the novelty wore off within a few days.   

Some are finding they're not as productive as usual and some worry about job security.  That adds to an already stressful situation. 

Well, perhaps I can offer some peace of mind.  Professor Yarimar Bonilla from Hunter College in New York, on Twitter, writes this:  "We really need to stop trying to carry out every single meeting, task and activity online.  Some things just need to be let go.  Flattening the curve also involves lowering the bar and prioritizing well-being above productivity." 

Now, if you can find a strategic way to share that with your manager or boss, we'll be making some progress.
