Two men are facing charges after the Moose Jaw Police Service seized Methamphetamine and Fentanyl on Tuesday. 

During a traffic stop on the 1000 block of Stadacona Street East, police suspected the driver of the vehicle was impaired. A roadside examination was performed with the test coming back negative. 

Through further investigation, the officers learned that the vehicle matched the description of a vehicle reported stolen from Regina over the weekend. 

Police searched the driver and found 35.6 grams of Methamphetamine with a street value of about $3,560 and 67.3 grams of suspected Fentanyl with a street value of about $5,384. 

The passenger of the vehicle had a small amount of Fentanyl on him and drug paraphernalia, according to police.  

Inside the vehicle was also 25 boxes and Pokemon and sports cards, which police believe were stolen although the owner of the cards is unknown. 

Ryan Kupser, 44, and Brennan Luhning, 22, have been charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and possession of stolen property under $5,000. 

Luhning was additionally charged with possession of Fentanyl. Kupser is also facing charges of possession of Methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of Fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, failing to comply with an undertaking and obstructing a peace officer. 

Kupser and Luhning made their first appearance in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Wednesday.
