The City of Moose Jaw and the Moose Jaw Firefighters Association have agreed to terms of a collective bargaining agreement.

The three-year deal covers 2019-2021 and includes a 2.5% per year wage increase and a 0.5% increase in pension contribution on a go forward basis.

"We're very pleased to reach this agreement with the Firefighters Association," said City Manager Jim Puffalt. "We appreciate the work of our Moose Jaw Fire Department and look forward to productive and respectful bargaining in the future."

The Moose Jaw Firefighters Association is the union representing 45 firefighters with the Moose Jaw Fire Department.
